New entry-level linerless label applicator expands Nobac 40 range for efficient bottle labelling.

Ravenwood has expanded its Nobac 40 range with the new airless Nobac 40B Bottle Labeller, an entry-level linerless label applicator. This custom-built system efficiently applies linerless labels up to 200mm long and 40mm wide around various bottle sizes. Ravenwood Launches Next-Gen Scanner for Com 500 Coater

New state-of-the-art optical scanner delivers unparalleled adhesive coat weight measurement for enhanced quality assurance and efficiency.

Ravenwood has introduced a state-of-the-art scanner for its Com 500 coating machine, delivering unparalleled accuracy in measuring adhesive coat weight. Using a 1mm wide beam of light, it detects refractive changes through the adhesive - ensuring precision across all substrates, including clear film. This major advancement in quality assurance eliminates the need for manual, offline testing. Superseding the previous IR scanner, it’s now fitted as standard on all new Com 500s and can be retrofitted to most existing units. The upgrade boosts efficiency and reduces costs.

Ravenwood Unveils Airshaft Upgrade for Com 500 Coater

New airshaft revolutionises stripe roller setup for faster change overs on Com 500 coaters.

Ravenwood has launched a new Stripe Roller Support Shaft for the Com 500 Coater, replacing the traditional ETP locking bush system. The innovative Airshaft allows for faster setup - stripe rollers are positioned and secured using compressed air. Operators can deflate, adjust, and re-inflate the shaft with ease, reducing downtime and complexity. Benefits include quicker pattern changes, simplified operation, no costly locking bushes to replace, and a lighter unit overall. While existing rollers need modification or replacement, extensive production testing has shown excellent results across all tested silicone patterns. This upgrade marks another leap in Com 500 efficiency and user-friendliness.
