Innovative Shrink Sleeve Inks for Sustainable Packaging by ECKART: PLATINSTAR UV/LED 168 004 and PLATINSTAR GX 2903

Suitable for shrink sleeve applications are the inks PLATINSTAR UV/LED 168 004 Shrink Silver for Flexo Dual cure and PLATINSTAR GX 2903 for Solvent-based Gravure printing processes. Both are based on new pigment milling technology and 100% mineral oil-free and impress with excellent optical, mirror-like properties. The metallic inks from ECKART ensure an efficient and environmentally friendly recycling process. As tests have shown, labels printed with these products do not interfere with the automatic material recognition during the sorting process, making material identification fully possible. Also, no contamination in the deinking process was detected. These characteristics are making them the right choice for sustainable packaging solutions.
