At Labelexpo Europe 2019, visitors can expect to see a wide variety of technical solutions, as usual – but lately, technology suppliers have developed a wider reach to appeal and connect to brand owners. The digitalization of processes has exposed brands owners to more information and possibilities in producing labels and packaging.

This year at the HP Indigo Stand in the Patio (5C200), brands can experience workflow systems that connect their assets, such as artwork, data or production management information, directly to a print service provider.
Whether for the purpose of being faster to market or to verify visual appeal/identity or even achieving better supply chain efficiencies, the rapid and accurate exchange of data and information between buyer and supplier has come of age in this industry.
After an artwork file is submitted, visitors will follow the processing all the way from submission to the substrate and then to the final label or package. Throughout the job flow, critical color matching complemented by High Quality Colour Control (HQCC), spot colors and special inks like silver, fluorescent, and more, will prove that any kind of job is possible with HP Indigo.
Brands are invited to customize packaging and watch a live demo of end-to-end web2pack automation, from online job submission on the Indigo software-powered storefront, through automated pre-press and end-to-end production management using PrintOS Site Flow.
Same-day pouch production will be demonstrated at the HP Indigo Digital Pouch Factory, making its debut at the show with the HP Indigo 20000 Digital Press and Karlville Pack Ready lamination and pouch making machines. On-demand pouching opens new options for brands to engage with customers and capture seasonal campaigns.
Should the application demand extra durability, the “Pack Ready for Labels” process will demonstrate temperature and scratch resistant capabilities. When digital embellishments are required the HP Indigo GEM can be used for foil, spot, tactile, cast and cure in single-pass printing, and a print-over-foil solution using the HP Indigo 6900 Digital Press in line with the KURZ DM-JETLINER®.  The combination of offset print quality with these added value, digital embellishments paves a new way to think about product decoration.
Prints will be produced on various machines throughout the booth - printing labels, sleeves, flexible packaging, while the finishing will be shown by partners. This means visitors can experience a complete end-to-end production process in just a few square meters.
A dedicated area will cover several brand protection solutions featuring the latest security techniques including methods to track and trace. HP Indigo partners are showcasing how to achieve optimal automation and efficiencies through Web-to -Pack, MIS and artwork management systems.
Finally, many real job samples spread all across the booth bring concepts to life and show off how brand owners are using HP Indigo digital printing and innovating every day.  Brand owners have a great deal to discover at the HP Indigo booth this year at Labelexpo Europe 2019, Brussels.
