In 1959 Mr. Hassan Ali Fleifel established his Lebanon based company, with its main activity in paper trading. The following year, he established a small factory for paper converting and introduced the first machine. In 1968, he had seven machines for paper bag production and printing where they used to produce 7 tons of paper daily. In the late seventies, the demand on paper declined and for that reason, facial and toilet tissue converting was added to production. In the early nineties, the demand on paper bags gradually increased and a company under the name of Snoppies was formed, focusing on the production and printing of paper bags. Today Mr Fleifel supplies around 60% of the Lebanese market and expansion plans are being implemented. Mr. Fleifel is a hardworking Lebanese entrepreneur who is setting the trend to create new market opportunities in the EMEA-region. An investment in Agfa’s Dotrix Modular will give his business the necessary boost to realize his growth plans.
