Intercoat (stand 5D23) will feature a range of labels suitable for food packaging at this year’s Labelexpo Europe.

The new deep freeze label facestock can be applied on frozen surfaces and areas dampened with condensation moists, while pasteurizable labels are fit for food packings that require pasteurization before wrapping. These labels have been approved in trickling water pasteurization processes at 98°C for two hours as well as in water bath at 100°C for 1.5 hours.

Both product lines come as biaxially oriented polypropylene films, white glossy or transparent glossy with top coat for brilliant printability. They show excellent die-cutting properties, no bleeding and fast label dispensing and are approved for direct food contact.

In addition, Intercoat will introduce new waterbased inkjet materials e. g. for Memjet. Here, the development of flexible materials and exquisite matte surfaces for high-value products is in constant progress.
