Codimag displays new presses

Posted on 10th August 2011

Codimag (stand 11R30) will show its Viva 340 and 420 presses with Aniflo print units. The Viva 340 will run several offset jobs every day to show live job changes, including plate-making. A digital color proof will be available for print result evaluation. The Viva 420 will run Aniflo units in combination with hot-foil.

New developments include a color management system, and an increasingly multi-color process system. As there is no ink key control or roller setting, and no ink/water balance, the Aniflo unit offers a predictable and repeatable print system.

Codimag will also have a ‘waterless corner’ on the booth, in cooperation with Toray, a supplier of waterless offset plates.

Codimag will have Le Figaro on its stand every day – the first French newspaper to be printer on a KBA Cortina waterless press.
