UPM Raflatac introduces enhanced labels with PP Embossed overlaminating films

UPM Raflatac (stand 5D60) has introduced two new textured PP Embossed overlaminating films to give labels a new finish. Laminated over silver and gold films or over white and coloured papers, these Linen and Pearl embossing patterns give a new look and feel to labels and make them stand out even better. In addition to a quality look and feel, overlaminating can also create an impression of higher print contrast and colour intensity. PP White TC 60 RH 9 ProLiner PP30 is a combination of a high-quality, multipurpose filmic face, a high-tack hotmelt adhesive and the ProLiner PP30 for increased productivity and profitability in high-volume labelling. This new combination complements the current ProLiner PP30 product range for food, personal care and home care labelling.

At the Digital Print Workshops during Labelexpo Europe 2011, UPM Raflatac (stand 5D60) is introducing Optimum Extra, a mid-gloss paper label face for HP Indigo and digital UV-inkjet printing. Optimum Extra covers all mid-gloss end-uses from food and drinks to home care, retail and logistics. It has a specially adapted surface which provides optimum colour saturation and consistently crisp resolution, without the need for an additional primer before printing.
